Excerpt	The author presents two palettes designed by the medallist Tony Szirmaï (Paris) for the International Congress of Medical Sciences held in Budapest in 1909. The palette was made to commemorate Romania's participation at the event. Tony Szirmaï made two plaquettes for the Congress, one inscribed "the 15th Congress", the second "the 16th Congress". Both bear the date of 1909. Describing the two pieces and taking into account several elements characteristic of Szirmaï's entire artistic work, the author comes to the conclusion that the real palette is the palette that attesting the Romanian participation at the 16th Congress of Medical Sciences from Budapest, 1909.
